Part One - What are the parts of the eye?
Introduction
Eyes are fascinating.. They allows us to see near and far. They allows us to see colors. They allow depth perception and keep us from falling over. Many of us take our sight for granted, but it is an amazing tool. You will find out a little more about how they work as you go on a Visionquest. In part one, we will find out a little more about each part of the eye. What purpose does each part serve?
Task
You will research all the different parts of the eye and compare them
to the parts of the camera. The eye is the
window to the world. You also want to find at least two links that are not on
my list.
Resources
You will be researching eye parts and camera parts using the internet. You
will be using what you glean to compare parts of the eye that are similar to
parts of a camera. You also want to be on the lookout for major differences in
the two.

Read the following websites to investigate parts of the eye and parts of a

Evaluation
You are going to create a power point comparing a camera to the human eye. You
must include all of the major parts involved in capturing an image for both.
Include the ways they are alike and dislike. You should include at least two
links that are different from my list.

Cameras and eyes
Eyes and cameras are very similar. They both have many parts that serve the same purpose. Cameras are fun ways to preserve the memories as we grow, but eyes serve as our windows to the world. Our eyes capture thousands of images each day. You will continue your visionquest into the human eye as you delve into part 2.
